Meet your trainer

Brian Waterfield

Head of Immersive Production, University of F

Brian Waterfield is a Digital Consultant and the Head of Immersive Production at the University of Falmouth.

Previously Brian was a digital manufacturing manager at one of the UK's leading automotive companies. With a varied background across ergonomics, product engineering, design and manufacturing both in the physical and virtual, Brian introduced virtual reality into the vehicle development process back in 2007 where he commissioned one of the world’s leading virtual environments which later evolved into the Virtual Innovation Centre that is operating today.

1. Vision & Strategy

In this module we look at creating a framework, and the priorities in a digital blueprint.

In this module we simply the tech speak and cut through the abundance of acronyms that dominate XR.

  • Product creation efficiencies

In this module we look at re-evaluating your end-to-end processes, defining points of weakness and the importance of a solid foundation.
