Never before has there been a greater demand for e-commerce shopping, a reality that has only been compounded in the last year due to pandemic lockdown.
But this growth in demand requires an evolution in logistics structure, and in particular that of reverse logistics, which of course directly influences the consumer experience - a key factor in the strategy of any company.
Consumer returns inevitably have a negative impact on sustainability - logistics and waste product being the most obvious costs. Why does circularity matter in reverse logistics? How can we move from linear to circular and how should this be communicated to the consumer?
